Horse - Raven's Pass

This stallion was trained by John Gosden, and was ridden to victory in the Breeders' Cup Classic by Frankie Dettori. Raven's Pass was bred and raced by Stonerside Stable of Paris, Kentucky until the farm and its bloodstock were sold in September of 2008 to Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, daughter of King Hussein I of Jordan and a wife of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who owns Darley Racing, owner of the other half-interest in the horse.



Jockey - Frankie Dettori

Lanfranco (Frankie) Dettori is one of the elite stars of world racing, with his ebullient personality and brilliance in the saddle making him a favourite around the globe. He is the son of Sardinian jockey Gianfranco Dettori, who was a prolific winner in Italy. He has been gaining multiple victories and awards through his jockey career,Dettori is certainly a force to be reckoned with on the race track.




Trainer - John Gosden

As a history fact, John Gosden trained Royal Heroine, the turf mare who won the inaugural Breeder's Cup Mile in 1984. along his career, he has enjoyed a lot of success and in late 2005, he moved back to Newmarket to work at Clarehaven, where he trained Nannina, who won the 2005 Fillies' Mile and the 2006 Coronation Stakes. In September 2007, John won his second St Leger, and his fourth English Classic with Lucarno.

In September 2008, Gosden won both Group 1 races held at Ascot for the second time in the decade with Ravens Pass winning the QEII Stakes and Rainbow View winning the Fillies Mile. In October 2008, Gosden won the Breeders' Cup Classic at Santa Anita Park with Raven's Pass.
