And just that a dream fight because it seems that this fight ain't going to happen anytime, nor soon, nor never. The rumors are just that rumors; since 2009 this fantasy fight has been in the mouth of many whom stills hope to see it happen.
The rumors starts with money, like almost in every good sport business or any other kind is a great motivator to bring this fight to reality. But why isn't possible for this two titans to have a match? Something is always in the middle; it's like if this is not meant to happen because of some kind of supernatural reasons beyond the human comprehension. However the reasons are more human than meets the eye. The last rumor says that Pacquiao is reluctant to take a blood test, and that's the reason they don't fight.
We have seen the blogs, the fanbase sites and even other articles talking about how great this match will be if it sees the light. We even have read on those lines how these two fighters will beat the other. We know... you know; ...we are tired of waiting, and that's not the only reason that have us mad, but also the time that has taken to define if its going to happen and what is worst is that it isn't going to be realized...ever! In some kind of way, Mayweather seems to be evading Pacquiao. I don't believe is fear of the man, but more like fear to lose his record of 42-0 or his reputation of bad ass.
With each day and month that passes, this dream fight just became that... a dream that is not going to get out of the pillow by the morning and that will be forgotten by noon.
It's better to forget about these fairy tales and start taking in consideration the real fight ahead; Pacquiao vs Marquez. November 12 will be the day that all those claims made by Marquez will be proved. Pacquiao is preparing to confirm that all those issues are totally wrong. The Filipino is willing to show the world that he beat the Mexican on the previous fights in legal terms and that now he will do it again but this time he will try it with a Knock out.
Pacquiao's trainer assured that Manny really has a grudge against Marquez, especially since the Mexican wore a t-shirt with a "I beat Pacquiao Twice" in the Philippines and started to campaign that he was robbed. Pacquiao usually is a calm person, and mild mannered, especially when he refers to future contenders and fights, but this outrageous behavior of Marquez seems to have triggered some anger spot on the "little fella".
Marquez seems to be looking for it, and Pacquiao is eager to give him a lesson. Whatever the results of this fight, it will be three times better than the previews ones, so it will be worth to see it.
