Week 8 is complete, and we have reached the half of this season, and yet again we have an undefeated team. But this one does not seem as powerful as the Patriots were last year. In any case Tennessee has showed their mettle and still hasn't lost a single game. Although it must be said that their games seemed more complicated when they played as locals, and now comes the time in the calendar where they have to go out and visit the other teams, with a great winning record in tow.
Cincinnati finally won their first game of the season and beat a very mediocre Jacksonville Jaguars who, to put this in simple words, have been a mockery of what was expected of them. They don't seem to have brought a single gram of attitude with them, and it seems very unlikely they'll manage to even get to the playoffs as a wildcard team.
Houston has lost its streak of games won because they had to go for visitors. Their 3 games won in a row worked to get them a more than a decent record, but we all knew that when they left the house they would be in trouble, and so they lost to Minnesota's Adrian Peterson, who ran well with the ball.
Kansas City gave Tampa a scare when they came close to taking the match, but somehow the Buccaneers turned the game around in the 4th quarter and, thanks to an overtime field goal, won a game that seem almost lost.
The Giants continue to give something to talk about after crushing the Cowboys, with Tony Romo simply sitting on the bench. They seem as one more Team that has nothing to do in the fight of such a complicated division.
The Raiders have had a very difficult season so far, practically making fools of themselves. So we better move on to other things...
Miami went to Denver and won, playing very well. The West Division of the American conference looks the worst in the league, because none of these teams have shown any consistency in their games.
Peyton Manning is making merits to earn his second consecutive MVP award. He is the most valuable player; his team begins and ends with him, and to date have not conceded a defeat. He also has not had a bad performance yet; he's yet again the most reliable man in the NFL this season. As a second option, Drew Bress, of the New Orleans Saints is also doing some great work.
And to end these little summaries, we can say that the Colts could in some way come back from their defeat last year. They beat the Patriots after all, and that is a good team, if lacking in depth. Could the Colts make a comeback in time?
The Parlay Calculator is a handy tool to calculate the payoff of parlay bets.
A parlay is a single bet that links together two or more individual wagers for a high payout. In order for the parlay bet to win, every one of the wagers must win.
